Brisbane Roar look set to be strengthened by the return of some important players for Sunday’s final regular season away game against Western Sydney Wanderers.
Head Coach Warren Moon has named defenders Tom Aldred, Macaulay Gillesphey and Josh Brindell-South in his extended 20-man squad for the trip to Bankwest Stadium.
Riku Danzaki is also in contention to feature after missing Tuesday’s outstanding 3-0 victory over Melbourne City through illness.
Wing-back Brindell-South, who scored in the Roar’s 2-1 away win over Western Sydney last month, could make his first appearance since signing a contract extension with the Club on Friday.
Brisbane will be looking to make it three wins on the trot in the Matchweek 23 fixture, which leads into back-to-back home games against Perth Glory on June 2 and Sydney FC on June 5 in a blockbuster conclusion to the regular season.
