Ins & Outs: JCP in contention to return

17-year-old Jordan Courtney Perkins is in contention to make his return to Hyundai A-League action in Friday night’s rescheduled Round 27 clash against the Jets on the Gold Coast.

As part of a revamped fixture, the Roar will take on the Jets behind closed doors at CBUS Super Stadium on the Gold Coast on Friday night (6:30pm KO).

Courtney-Perkins last took the field in a Hyundai A-League game on December 13 before a knee injury kept him sidelined. In August’s FFA Cup win over Sydney FC, he became the youngest player to take the field in a competitive fixture for the Club.

Fowler has also named the 18 players who got the job done against the Mariners at home last week, adding Courtney-Perkins as well as the experience of George Mells into the extended 20-man squad.
