Isuzu UTE A-League report: Perth claim three points in Launceston

Two goals from Bruno Fornaroli proved the difference as Brisbane Roar were consigned to a 2-0 defeat to Perth Glory at UTAS Stadium in Launceston on Sunday.

Fornaroli converted an early penalty and then picked out the top corner with just over 15 minutes to go to make the points safe for Perth.

Debutant goalkeeper Jordan Holmes otherwise had little else to do, with Brisbane the team on top for much of the intervening hour but unable to make the ascendency count.

Improvement will be needed come Friday night as Melbourne Victory make the trip north to Moreton Daily Stadium.
