One of the best young players to come through the Roar set-up, Donachie was a deserved recipient of the club’s Foxtel National Youth League Player of the Year for the both the 2010/11 and 2011/12 seasons.
After signing three-year contract in 2012, Donachie has excelled when called upon and is growing in stature under the guidance of the senior defenders in the squad. Donachie’s consistency saw him selected to compete at the FIFA U20 World Cup in Turkey in July 2013 and has since become a regular in Australia’s U23 side alongside Roar teammate Corey Brown.
