Brisbane Roar wish to confirm the departure of Kai Trewin from the club’s Isuzu UTE A-League Men’s side following the expiration of his contract.
The 22-year-old defender played 116 matches for the club and became the first player to come through Roar’s Academy program to hit a century of A-League appearances for Brisbane in March this year.
“To Brisbane Roar, I would like to say thank you for the opportunity I have been given to play for this club and the platform that you have given me to start and continue on with my career,” Trewin said.
“To the fans, I would like to say thank you for the past five years, the passion and support you showed myself and my teammates has been unbelievable, I’m very grateful to have been given the opportunity to fight for you on the pitch every week and I have loved every moment.”
Everyone at Brisbane thanks Kai for his contribution at the club and wishes him all the best for the future.
