Young Roar make the trip down the M1 to face Magic United in Kappa Pro Series Group D action at Birmingham Road on Saturday afternoon.
Karl Dodd’s side head into their third group game sitting level in third position in Group D having taken a win and a defeat from their two games so far.
Roar kicked off their season with a 2-0 win over Brisbane City thanks to a pair of late goals from Rhys Williams and Noah Maieroni in Bundaberg before falling to a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Rochedale on Tuesday night.
Magic sit bottom of Group D after opening their campaign with back-to-back defeats to Gold Coast Knights and Brisbane City.
The side from Birmingham Road, who are coached by Brett Budwee and home to former Young Roar attacker, Josh Di Marco are newly promoted into FQPL 1 after winning both the 2023 & 2024 FQPL 2 Grand Finals.
Roar have blooded a number of new faces in the Kappa Pro Series with Noah Maieroni, Adam Shaker, Christian Naveen, Jack Child, Sam Flannery and Archie Mitchell all playing their first minutes for the club.
There is no stream for Saturday’s match which kicks off at 4:45pm at Birmingham Road.
