Keeley Richards re-signs with Roar for 2024/25 Liberty A-League Women Season

Brisbane Roar is pleased to announce that goalkeeper Keeley Richards has re-signed with the club for the 2024/25 Liberty A-League season.

Born and raised in Brisbane, Richards made her top-flight debut with Canberra United in Round 5 of the 2020/21 season which saw her go on to play two more campaigns in the capital.

Richards made her Roar debut in Round 20 of the 2023/24 campaign, stepping into goals to make three appearances and keep one clean sheet after Jordan Silkowitz was recalled to her parent club.

The 29-year-old said she looks forward to continuing to play for her hometown club.

“Really excited to be a part of Brisbane Roar again for the upcoming season. Brisbane is home, and being able to play in front of friends and family toward the back end of the season was a dream come true,” Richards said.

“The fans are incredible and the support they provide is unreal and it’s always a privilege to be able to represent the club, both on and off the field,” she added.

“Looking forward to working with and learning from Alex and the football department again and to continue to contribute to the team in every way I know how.”
