Brisbane Roar fans can now watch LIVE our Olyroos trio – Jamie MacLaren, Brandon Borrello and James Donachie – and the rest of the Australian Under-23 squad as they bid to qualify for the Olympic Games, starting tomorrow.
Football Federation Australia today confirmed that the Olyroos’ matches in the 2016 AFC U-23 Championship (which doubles as the qualifiers for the 2016 Rio Olympics) will be LIVE streamed on the Olyroos and Socceroos websites.
The Olyroos play their first match of the tournament against the United Arab Emirates at the Grand Hamad Stadium in Doha at 2.30am (Qld time) tomorrow morning (Friday, 15 January 2016).
The matches will be streamed on the Olyroos under23s.footballaustralia.com.au/ and Socceroos www.socceroos.com.au/ websites.
The Olyroos second match is on Sunday, 17 January, against Vietnam at the same venue (11.30pm, Qld time).
Their final group game is against Jordan at Suheim Bin Hamad Stadium, Doha on Thursday 21 January, 2.30am Qld time).
The matches also will be on delayed telecast on Fox Sports Channel 505.
The Australian Under-23 team needs to finish in the top three at the 16-team tournament to qualifying for the Olympics in Rio de Janeiro in August.
