Matchday Guide: Milestone Celebration Double-Header

Matchday Guide: Milestone Celebration Double-Header

It’s a massive milestone match celebration at Moreton Daily Stadium this Sunday, and what better way to mark the occasion than with a double-header!

TICKETS: Don’t miss the celebrations this Sunday!

Brisbane Roar will pay tribute to two true greats of the club with an all-in celebration of long-serving and much-loved stars Katrina Gorry and Jack Hingert.

Gorry, in her 10th season with the club, and Hingert, now in his 11th, are two of just six players across both teams to have spent a decade in orange and the pair continue to achieve major milestones.

Hingert, a two-time Grand Final winner who joined the club as a 20-year-old in 2011, will make his 200th Isuzu UTE A-League appearance for the Roar if he features against Macarthur FC this Sunday.

Only one man – Matt McKay – has appeared in more league matches for the club.

Gorry has brought up the 100 mark for the Roar, a feat only achieved previously by Clare Polkinghorne and Tameka Yallop.

Fans are encouraged to show their thanks to two immense figures in the club’s history by submitting their own video messages, to be displayed on the big screens at Moreton Daily Stadium.

But that’s not all that’s happening this Sunday. Your Brisbane Roar squads are gearing up for two MASSIVE A-Leagues matches, hunting three points each and looking to climb their ladders.
