Brisbane Roar will head to Redcliffe to continue their 25/26 pre-season fixtures with a clash against NPL outfit Peninsula Power FC on Tuesday 26 August at AJ Kelly Park.
Peninsula Power will be fundraising for Red Nose Australia with a gold coin donation required to enter AJ Kelly Park.
After a great day out on the Sunshine Coast on Sunday, the club looks forward to continuing its community engagement on Tuesday night.
With the short turnaround and Peninsula Power in the midst of their season, both sides have agreed upon playing two 35-minute halves with Roar’s Sunday starting eleven expected to be rested for the match.
Here’s everything you need to know:
Football Queensland will be running their junior clinics at 4:30pm pre-match in conjunction with Peninsula Power, that will see Brisbane Roar players involved in co-coaching small-sided games and skills drills.
The Football Queensland inflatable field will be set up on the grounds adjacent to the playing fields from 5:30pm.
Peninsula Power will be providing the half-time entertainment, with their Miniroos set to take the field for some small-sided games during the break.
Brisbane Roar will have their tent set up for membership information and merchandise.
Fans are encouraged to stay around after the match for photo opportunities and a signing session with their favourite players.
The club canteen will be operating to provide food and drinks throughout the night.
