It may be a top versus bottom clash, but the ladder leaders will not be taking anything for granted against one of the form teams of the competition.
The Heart have four wins and a draw from their last five games, and carried out a stunning 5-0 demolition of the Wellington Phoenix in their last outing.
Brisbane, meanwhile, suffered a 1-0 loss last week at Suncorp Stadium to bogey side Newcastle Jets, but maintain a healthy seven-point advantage at the top of the Hyundai A-League table.
The influential McKay said on Friday that his body is in good shape after recovering from his ankle injury.
“I’m (feeling) pretty good, it’s fairly fresh now after a month off but obviously it takes a while to get that match fitness back,” he said.
“But if I can get 90 minutes on the weekend that will go a long way to helping me get there.
“I’m not a good spectator.
“I didn’t like going, to be fair. Two home games straight up that I missed.
“I’d rather be by myself and watching the game at home than being there, but the boys did really well and continued to roll on.
“It was disappointing last week, but we’ve got a couple of games on paper that we should win.”
The 31-year-old Socceroo said the Roar players were wary of the threat posed by a revitalised Heart.
“Obviously they had a big win against Wellington but it’s been a good seven weeks that they’ve continually got results.
“They haven’t moved up ladder positions but they’re racking the points up.
“With the league like it is, we always say it, there’s a salary cap and it’s an even game every weekend and anyone can beat anyone.
“A lot of people will even tip the Heart against us this week.
“So it’s going to be interesting. They’re a good side with some good players, and we’re ready.”
