Members will be able to purchase tickets to Brisbane Roar’s highly-anticipated clash with La Liga club Villarreal CF this Tuesday, 21 April at 9am through Ticketek.
The three-time Hyundai A-League Champions host Villarreal, nicknamed the Yellow Submarines, on Wednesday, 3 June at Suncorp Stadium as part of the global LFP World Challenge tour.
Club members have an exclusive three-day pre-purchase period to purchase their regular member seat at a discounted rate of 10 per cent off. Members will need to use a password consisting of their member account number and first name (eg, 12345John) for each seat they wish to purchase– these details can be found on the back of their card.
Roar members will also have an additional three days to purchase 10 additional seats (also at 10 per cent off) while Football Family members can purchase tickets between Thursday and Sunday.
General public sales through Ticketek begin on Monday, 27 April from 9am.
Villarreal’s roster is packed with exciting players including Argentine duo Mateo Musacchio and Luciano Vietto and is captained by Spanish international midfielder Bruno Soriano.
Other stars who could be in the touring party include former Tottenham midfielder Giovani dos Santos and on-loan Arsenal attacker Joel Campbell, who starred for Costa Rica at last year’s FIFA World Cup.
The match is only a few weeks before the Roar meets Liverpool FC in a highly anticipated clash at Suncorp Stadium on Friday, 17 July. The Reds’ touring squad has not yet been finalised but will include many of Liverpool’s international stars.
