Brisbane Roar FC can confirm that Momo Hayashi will depart the club, bringing an end to two unforgettable seasons in orange.
Since arriving ahead of the 2024/25 Ninja A-League campaign, Hayashi quickly became a fan favourite, her flair and fearlessness in midfield endearing her to the Roar faithful from her very first appearances. Her eye for the spectacular produced some of the Club’s most memorable moments on the park, and she was recognised among the League’s best, earning a Fan’s Player of the Year for the 2025/26 season.
The Club made genuine efforts to keep Momo at Brisbane Roar, but she has expressed a desire to pursue a new challenge in her career and the Club respects that decision.
Speaking on departing, Momo said, “Brisbane has been home for me, and this club and its fans will always have a piece of my heart.”
“I’ve given everything I have in this orange shirt, and I’ll never forget the moments we shared together. To the fans who sang for me every week, thank you for your support over the years it has meant so much to me.”
Brisbane Roar FC thanks Momo for her contribution to the Club and wishes her every success in the next stage of her career.
