Brisbane Roar has strengthened its midfield depth with the signings of Danny Kim and Matthew Ridenton.
The talented duo joins the Club for the remainder of the Hyundai A-League season and are keen to make an immediate impact.
Both players have been included in the extended squad for Sunday’s date with the Reds.
Kim has been a key member of the Lions FC midfield throughout his three-season stint for the NPL QLD side. Our new number 8 is excited for the upcoming fixture and hopeful to make his Hyundai A-League debut against Adelaide United.
“It has been a tough couple of months on and off the field since the COVID situation but I’ve been working hard in training, obviously it’s up to the head coach but I’ll be fit and ready to go” Kim said.
Ridenton has represented New Zealand on five occasions, also making more than 100 appearances in the Hyundai A-League. Speaking ahead of Sunday night’s clash, he is ready to get started and eager to make a positive contribution to the team.
“It’s been a good few sessions, I’ve been very impressed with the group and feel like i’ve found an easy environment to come into which is a positive thing,” Ridenton said.
“It’s a great club and I’m very happy to be here, I feel like I can make a strong contribution to the squad and hopefully help Brisbane have a successful end to the season”.
