We host Wellington Phoenix as Brisbane Roar pays tribute to the eight years since the Hyundai A-League began and this proud club was formed.
During this time, we-ve seen plenty of ups and downs, a host of interesting signings come in and out the door (anyone remember the Chinese David Beckham, Yuning Zhang or Brazilian marksman Marincho?) and of course, the historic back-to-back titles in 2011 and 2012.
There were the frustrating days of few home wins at Suncorp Stadium, the club re-naming to Brisbane Roar in 2009 and more recent memories of Albanian livewire Besart Berisha making headlines with his impeccable scoring form.
Some of the Roar faithful will remember these and many more but for those who don-t (and those who want to relive the best moments!), we-re dragging out….
