A number of Brisbane Roar Ninja A-League Women’s players took centre stage wearing the green and gold during the international break across the CommBank Matildas and CommBank Young Matildas.
In Matildas action, captain Tameka Yallop made appearances off the bench in both victories over New Zealand after a 2-0 win in Gosford and a 5-0 win in Adelaide.
For the Young Matildas, Grace Kuilamu, Zara Kruger and Kiera Meyers featured across their two-game series against Korea Republic in the capital. It kicked off with a 1-0 win followed by Grace Kuilamu finding the back of the net in a 4-1 victory to cap the series off.
These four stars will return to A-League action this Sunday in the club’s double header against Adelaide United at Coopers Stadium, where Alex Smith’s squad will be hungry for three points to bounce back to winning ways.
