American goalkeeper Olivia Sekany has been recalled to her parent club, Racing Louisville FC, after a brilliant A-League breakout season with Brisbane Roar.
Since joining Roar at the start of the 2024/25 Ninja A-League season, Sekany has kept six clean sheets and has made 47 saves.
Sekany is grateful for her time at the club and wishes her teammates all the best as they prepare for finals football.
“My time with Brisbane Roar was everything I could’ve hoped for and more”, Sekany said.
“I learned so much about myself as both a player and a person and truly loved every minute I got to spend with my Roar family on and off the pitch,” she added.
“While I’m absolutely shattered to not get the chance to finish out the rest of the season with the team, I know that the girls are going to absolutely crush it the rest of the way and do the organisation, the fans, and the city of Brisbane proud!”
The club thanks Olivia for her contribution to the club and wishes her all the best in her future.
