Brisbane Roar can today confirm that the Club has secured the services of talented Olyroo, Hosine Bility for the next two seasons after the powerful defender completed a permanent transfer from C.D. Mafra (Portugal) for an undisclosed fee.
Bility will look to build upon his impressive first season at the club, after making 24 appearances in season 2024/25. The 24-year-old is set to team up with another rising star Lucas Herrington once more in the centre of defence, as Michael Valkanis’ squad continues to take shape.
Prior to joining the Roar on loan last season, Bility had two stints at FC Midtjylland in Denmark and Fram Reykjavík in Iceland.
Speaking on his return permanently, Bility said: “I am excited to return to the Roar for the next two seasons and can’t wait to pull on the shirt once again.
“It was a privilege last year to represent the fans, and this year will be no different. I’m driven to work harder than ever before ahead of the season to ensure we are playing finals football this season.”
Head Coach Michael Valkanis said: “The signing of Hosine is a great moment for the club. I am confident that Hosine will continue to grow into a dominant defender for the club and play a key role for the team this season.
“Most importantly, I have no doubt that Hosine’s hard work ahead of the new campaign will allow him to represent the fans with pride.”
