Brisbane Roar’s ALW and ALM squads have been locked in for the weekend’s Round 14 action which sees both sides in action in New South on Saturday evening.
Roar’s ALW side will face Western Sydney Wanderers at Marconi Stadium while the ALM will play their 500th game in the competition when they take on Central Coast Mariners at Industree Group Stadium.
Alex Smith welcomes Leah Scarpelli back into the squad for Saturday’s match at Marconi Stadium, the defender returns to the side after missing last week’s 0-0 draw with Perth Glory as a concussion protocol.
Corey Brown, Shae Cahill and James Nikolovski link up the ALM squad, who have remained in New South Wales to prepare ahead of Saturday evening’s clash on the Central Coast.
Henry Hore and Antonee Burke-Gilroy returned from injury via the bench in Tuesday’s match in Newcastle and will push for more minutes in Saturday’s clash at Industree Group Stadium.
Scott Neville also returned from injury on Tuesday night but will miss Saturday’s game after pulling up sore from the Jets match.
Jay O’Shea will miss Saturday’s match after being sent off against Newcastle, while Keegan Jelacic will serve the second game of his two-match suspension following his red card against Macarthur.
Both of Saturday’s games will be broadcast live on Paramount+ with the ALW match also being shown on 10 Play & the ALM match on 10 Bold.
