Queensland X-Ray Injury Update: A-Leagues R3

Brisbane Roar make the trip across the ditch for a double header against Wellington Phoenix in Round 3 A-League action with a near clean bill of health on Saturday.

Both the Roar Men’s and Women’s side look to continue their undefeated starts to the 2023/24 season when they face off with the Phoenix at Sky Stadium.

After missing the first two games, Roar Women’s Captain Eash Norrie is back in contention to be selected for Saturday’s match.

Tameka Yallop returns from international duty and is available for selection after scoring for the Matildas in their 3-0 Olympic qualifying win over Chinese Taipei on Wednesday night.

Mariel Hecher continues recovery from an ACL injury suffered in December of last year.

Corey Brown, Carlo Armiento and Jez Lofthouse are all back in full training with Brown and Armiento both named in the travelling squad for Saturday’s match.

Jack Hingert continues his rehabilitation after successfully undergoing minor knee surgery as he works towards a return to action later this month.

Saturday’s action at Sky Stadium gets underway with the Liberty A-League Women’s match at 11:45am before the Isuzu UTE A-League game kicks off at 2:30pm AEST.
