Another big weekend of A-League action awaits with Brisbane Roar up against Melbourne City at home in ALM action on Saturday while the ALW side take on Western United away on Sunday.
Both sides look to return to the winners circle and propel themselves up the A-League ladder with the business end of the 2023/24 season fast approaching.
Henry Hore and Jack Hingert are both available for Saturday’s A-League Men’s match after overcoming knocks that saw them forced off in last weekend’s draw with Wellington.
Club captain, Tom Aldred won’t be risked on Saturday after being forced to withdraw from last week’s match in the warm-up with calf tightness.
Florin Berenguer returns to the matchday squad for the first time since picking up and injury in the Roar’s Unite Round win over Newcastle Jets last month.
Roar’s A-League Women’s side head to City Vista Reserve on Sunday afternoon to face Western United and will be without midfield duo Ayesha Norrie and Hollie Palmer, who both picked up their fifth yellow cards of the 2023/24 season in last weekend’s match against Melbourne Victory.
Meanwhile, Leah Scarpelli who hasn’t featured since the sides Unite Round clash against Newcastle Jets remains sidelined with a hamstring strain.
