Queensland X-Ray Injury Update: ALM R23 & ALW R19

Brisbane Roar has locked in it’s squads for the weekend’s A-League action with the men headed west to face Perth Glory while the women host Newcastle Jets at Perry Park on Sunday.

Here’s all the key team news ahead of the weekend’s matches brought to you by Queensland X-Ray.

Brisbane Roar head west to face Perth Glory in Isuzu UTE A-League Round 23 action at HBF Park on Saturday night.

Ruben Zadkovichā€™s side are bolstered by the addition of experienced trio, Florin Berenguer, Ben Halloran & Walid Shour, who all return to the travelling squad for Saturdayā€™s trip to Perth.

Austin Ludwik has been ruled out of Saturdayā€™s match after being forced off with a facial injury in last weekendā€™s draw against Adelaide United.

18-year-old, Queenslander James Durrington is in the mix for more minutes after the midfielder made his A-League debut in Adelaide last weekend.

In Ninja A-League action, Brisbane Roar are back at Perry Park this weekend on the hunt for three points against Newcastle Jets in Pride Round.

After an interrupted game week last weekend due to Cyclone Alfred, the squad are raring to go as the race for finals football heats up with just nine points separating fourth and tenth on the league table.

Evdokia Popadinova has been named in the extended squad after overcoming a hamstring injury that has kept her sidelined since Round 16 against Western United.

Goalkeeper, Emma Gibbon returns to the 18-player squad with Olivia Sekany returning to the States earlier this week after being recalled by her parent club, Racing Louisville FC.

The clubā€™s newest recruit, Amali Kinsella, will look for more valuable match minutes after making her Brisbane Roar debut in Round 17 against Sydney FC.
