Brisbane Roar have locked in their A-League match day squads ahead of two big games at home this weekend.
Roar’s Liberty A-League side will take on Melbourne City at Perry Park on Saturday afternoon before the Isuzu UTE A-League Men face Melbourne Victory at Suncorp Stadium on Sunday.
The club can regretfully confirm that defender, Scott Neville has ruptured his anterior cruciate ligament in training and will miss the remainder of the 2023/24 Isuzu UTE A-League season.
Everyone at Brisbane Roar FC wishes Scott a speedy recovery and can’t wait to see him back out on the pitch sooner rather than later.
Despite being forced off at half time in last weekend’s draw with Western United Jay O’Shea has been named in Sunday’s squad to face Victory.
Jonas Markovski, who marked his return to the team last weekend with a goal retains his place in the squad while Taras Gomulka comes back into to the match day squad after being a late omission last week.
Roar’s Liberty A-League side are boosted by the return of defender, Leah Scarpelli ahead of Saturday’s clash against Melbourne City.
Tameka Yallop is in the mix to face her former club after featuring in both legs of the Matildas victory over Uzbekistan that saw them qualify for the 2024 Paris Olympics.
