Brisbane Roar are set to return to Suncorp this Friday night for a top of the table clash against Western Sydney Wanderers as they battle it out for first place.

After their 2-1 victory over Perth Glory, Brisbane Roar’s Isuzu UTE A-League squad suffered injuries from Corey Brown and Florin Berenguer.

Brown sustained a hamstring strain that will see him out for 12 weeks, while Berenguer will miss two to three weeks as a result of a quad strain.

Carlo Armiento is aiming to re-join training next week following an ongoing groin concern.

Fans will be pleased to see that Joe Caletti will make his return from suspension on Friday night.

Shae Cahill is in line to make his A-League debut against the Wanderers after being named in the 20-player squad for the first time this season.

Aaron Reardon is back in full training and pushing for selection next week, with Markovski making good progress following a knee ligament injury, expected to be back in training within two weeks.

For the Liberty A-League Women, they will be making the most out of the international break as they continue to build for Canberra United away on Sunday 10 December.

Kijah Stephenson sustained an ankle injury during Sunday’s game at Suncorp and is working with the medical team to ensure she is ready to get back on the pitch as quickly and safely as possible.
