Brisbane Roar are set for Round 8, with the Liberty A-League Women back in Brisbane against Western Sydney Wanderers and the Isuzu UTE A-League Men heading to Melbourne to take on Western United.

The Liberty A-League squad have had a productive training week with no new injuries to report as they gear up to bounce back this weekend at Perry Park in front of home fans.

Roar fans can be assured that Mariel Hecher is in training and working hard with medical staff to get back onto the pitch as she works on returning from her ACL injury.

For the Isuzu UTE A-League Men, Aaron Reardon comes back into the squad and will be available for selection in Friday night’s Western United clash.

Exciting young Queensland defender Dylan Meinicke has been named in the 20-player squad and is in contention to make his senior debut.

Henry Hore has successfully undergone minor knee surgery and is working towards a return in four weeks time.

Scott Neville (groin) and Antonee Burke-Gilroy (hamstring) are expected to miss between 2-3 weeks after the pair were forced off in last weekend’s win in Adelaide.

Florin Berenguer is making positive progress as he works towards a return in the next few weeks.
