Brisbane Roar shared the points with Western United after a scoreless 0-0 result on Sunday evening at Perry Park.
Although there were plenty of chances and dominance from Brisbane in the opening 15 minutes, the first half remained scoreless with nothing to split the sides.
Goalkeeper Olivia Sekany showcased a flying save in the 18th minute on a deadly strike from Western United’s Aimee Medwin.
Grace Kuilamu was shown the first yellow card of the contest after a foul on Julia Sardo in the 27th minute.
In what was a scoreless second half, Roar had a spectacular last-ditch effort in the third minute of added time after Alicia Woods put in a cross that Danelle Tan put into the back of the net, but it was ruled offside.
Next week, Roar will continue working hard in their international break before their match against Sydney FC away on March 2.
