Brisbane Roar earn one point on the road after sharing the points against Sydney FC in a 1-1 draw at Leichhardt Oval on Friday night.
Ashlee Brodigan put Roar in the lead after a well-placed shot from outside the box to make it 1-0 in the 12thminute. This marks Brodigan’s first goal in orange, and sixth career goal for the attacker.
Just before the break, Matilda star Cortnee Vine scored a tap-in from a cross in the 42nd minute to level the scoreline.
Although there were goal opportunities for both sides in the second half, it was a scoreless 45 minutes that ultimately ended in a 1-1 stalemate.
Deborah-Anne De La Harpe made her Roar debut after coming on in the final moments of added time.
