The Brisbane Roar Academy has extended its reach across Queensland with a new hub to be established in the Fraser Coast Regional Council.
The hub will be centred around an U8 – U12 Skills Training program, designed to be accessible and of benefit to all young footballers in the Fraser Coast region as well as broadening our identification of talent that leads to the Club’s Hyundai A-League and Westfield W-League setups.
The new hub extends the Roar Academy’s presence in Queensland and provides a terrific opportunity for young footballers and coaches in the Fraser Coast region.
Ahead of the programs commencing in Term 3, the Roar Academy will also be hosting a free School Holiday clinic at the Fraser Coast Sports and Recreation Precinct on Saturday, 11 July.
The free clinic, which will be attended by the Academy’s highly-qualified and experienced coaches and include testing by Soccer Genius, will be open to boys and girls in the Fraser Coast region aged U8 through to U16.
An U8 – U12 session will be held from 9am – 11am followed by an U13 – U16 session from 11:30am – 1:30pm
Expressions of interest are open until 9pm on Thursday, 9 July with a limit of 15 players per age group.
Parents of registered kids will receive an info pack and event run sheet on Friday, 10 July as well as important information around COVID-19 measures.
