Brisbane Roar has decided not to renew the contract of assistant coach Rado Vidosic.

The club today thanked Vidosic for his hard work, professionalism and tactical expertise throughout a challenging season of Hyundai A-League and AFC Champions League matches.

“Rado has had a long association with Brisbane Roar and will always be a close friend of the club,” the club said in announcing Vidosic’s departure.

“On behalf of the playing group, his fellow coaches, club staff and our members and supporters, we thank Rado for everything he has done at the Roar and wish him well for the future.”

Vidosic was a previous Head Coach at the Roar and worked as an assistant coach at the club under former Head Coach Ange Postecoglou.

He rejoined the Roar in January after an assistant coaching stint with Sydney FC.
