Brisbane Roar have gone down to league leaders Western United 2-0 on Saturday afternoon in Hobart.
It was a history-making match as the Roar and United came head-to-head for the first time in the Liberty A-League competition.
The Roar looked to make their mark early in the game with a handful of chances on goal but were unable to find the opener.
Just minutes from halftime, they were made to pay when a deflection from a Jess McDonald cross found Golden Boot leader Hannah Keane to open the scoring.

The second half saw much of the same as Roar looked for an equaliser before McDonald made her second assist of the day as Tyla-Jay Vlajnic doubled Western’s lead.
The Liberty A-League squad will be back at home on Saturday 28 January when they take on Wellington Phoenix at AJ Kelly Park.
