Roar’s Isuzu UTE A-League Round 6 home match postponed following COVID cases at Melbourne City

Brisbane Roar regrets to advise that with six players from Melbourne City’s men’s football department testing positive for COVID-19, the Isuzu UTE A-League Round 6 match scheduled for Moreton Daily Stadium on Monday, 27 December has been postponed.

The Australian Professional Leagues (APL) announced the outcome on Wednesday morning.

The Roar joins its members and supporters in expressing its disappointment with these circumstances in the wake of the recent Perth Glory match postponement.

The club encourages all fans to keep hold of their tickets as we await new dates for the two home fixtures, which will be confirmed by the APL in due course.

Anyone unable to attend the rescheduled games may contact membership@brisbaneroar.com.au for support.

The Roar’s next home matches at Moreton Daily Stadium are now scheduled to take place as a women’s and men’s double-header on Sunday, 9 January.

The Liberty A-League Women’s game against Western Sydney Wanderers gets underway at 3:05pm, while the Isuzu UTE A-League Men’s match commences at 5:45pm.
