Brisbane Roar will play another pre-season match before the Hyundai A-League 2014/15 season against NPL Queensland Grand Finalists Olympic FC next Wednesday, 1 October at Goodwin Park, Yeronga.
With less than three weeks remaining until the club’s season opener at Suncorp Stadium, Head Coach Mike Mulvey will use the pre-season fixture to fine tune his squad for round one against Adelaide United.
Olympic lost the 2014 NPL Queensland Grand Final two weeks ago to Palm Beach Sharks and have since also been knocked out of the Westfield FFA Cup by Central Coast Mariners but the inaugural NPL Queensland Champions will provide the Roar with a stern test at their home ground.
Entry to the pre-season fixture is a gold coin, with funds from the night donated to the Royal Children’s Hospital Foundation.
