Brisbane Roar’s commitment to the local football community continues to gather strength with the club travelling across Brisbane to support a massive day for junior football.
Arriving at three different clubs in the same day, Roar players maintaned a hectic schedule to promote junior football programs in the region.
Steven Bryce, Ivan Franjic and Roar women-s squad member, Ellen Beaumont, made an appearance at the home of the Brisbane Wolves for the season launch of the Schools Premier League, while Isaka Cernak and Josh McCloughan travelled to the Deception Bay club for a junior training session.
Finally, Tim Smits and Adam Sarota took part at an under-9 and under-10 muster day at the Ridge Hills Football Club.
The Roar stars chatted with the youngsters and participated in training drills before signing autographs and posing for photographs.
Bryce and Franjic were particularly impressed with the quality of football displayed by teams contesting the opening round of the Schools Premier League.
Roar fan and supporters can next catch the players out-and-about at the Brisbane Magic Futsal Grand Finals at the State Hockey Centre, Colmslie next Tuesday at 6pm.
