Brisbane Roar FC would like to advise all stakeholders and supporters, that the Club will be appealing the direct red card issued to Holly McQueen in the 61st minute of the Liberty A-League Women match.
BRFC fully respects the difficult role of referees in maintaining order on the field and appreciate the challenges they face in making split-second decisions. However, upon reviewing the incident leading to the direct red card, BRFC believes the decision should be reviewed and reconsidered.
We will be formally appealing the decision as an Obvious Error (Red Card) pursuant to the A Leagues Disciplinary Regulations.
