Brisbane Roar’s preparations for the new A-League Men’s season are set to continue tonight with a friendly hit-out against Capalaba FC on the Gold Coast.
It’s a return to action for Warren Moon’s men following their slick 3-0 win over Peninsula Power in the FFA Cup and fans are welcome to attend with no cost of entry.
The match comes just after days after confirmation of the team’s opening six A-League Men’s fixtures, beginning away to Melbourne City on 19 November.
New faces Jez Lofthouse and Henry Hore could make their first appearances since being announced this week as new signings for the upcoming campaign.
The clash with Capalaba will kick off at 7:30pm directly adjacent to the Gold Coast Sports & Leisure Centre in the North zone of the Gold Coast Sports Precinct.
Spectators are urged to consult and comply with the Queensland Government’s latest COVID-19 directions and restrictions before attending the match.
This includes the requirement for anyone in Brisbane or on the Gold Coast to wear a face mask outdoors when you are unable to stay 1.5 metres away from people who are not from your household.
