Brisbane Roar welcomes Unwanted FC as Community Partner

Community Partner: Unwanted FC

Brisbane Roar is proud to add local Brisbane upcycling service Unwanted FC to its family of Community and Charity Champions.

Unwanted FC is a local Brisbane football brand focused on sustainability through its upcycling service, which aims to give unwanted football jerseys a second life.

Kevin and Keith Chan, the brothers behind Unwanted FC, transform once-beloved garments into new functional designs such as tote bags, laptop sleeves, pouches and face masks.

“We’re proud to be partnering with Brisbane Roar FC and helping to promote a circular economy through some of our most beloved football jerseys,” said co-founder Kevin Chan.

“We enjoy celebrating kits of the past, especially during a time when the gaps between football, fashion and sustainability close in.”

Unwanted FC - How it Works

The team from Unwanted FC will be in attendance outside Gate 1 at this Saturday’s A-League match between Brisbane Roar and Western United at Moreton Daily Stadium.

Kick-off is at 4:05pm. Get tickets to Saturday’s game HERE.

Unwanted FC urges you to bring along your old football kits and have them upcycled into a reusable item of your choice!
