Brisbane Roar is proud to announce that Brisbane Roar ‘B’ defender Jackson O’Reilly has been selected in the New Zealand FIFA U-17 World Cup Squad.
For the young centre-back, he will travel to Qatar for next month’s showpiece event and be part of a squad who have been drawn in Group L at the tournament alongside Austria, Mali and Saudi Arabia.
The team start against Mali on Thursday 6 November (KO 12:45am AEST), before facing Saudi Arabia on Sunday 9 November (KO 1:45am AEST), and Austria on Wednesday 12 November (KO 1:45am AEST).
Brisbane Roar would like to congratulate Jackson on his selection in the squad and wish him all the best for the upcoming tournament.
