Roar’s E-League competitors confirmed for 2022 campaign

Brisbane Roar has sealed its two E-League signings for 2022 in partnership with XP Esports, the club’s official E-League partner.

Dylan Banks (AussieFifa HD) and Connor Stewart (Envy) are both back in orange and ready to roll into the Group Stage beginning in early May.

The pair have historically been strong performers in the XP FIFA League and are keen to carry that into the new E-League campaign.

Having achieved back-to-back runner-up finishes for the Roar in 2019 and 2020, Dylan says he’s looking to go one better this time around.

“Second in my first year, again in the second year. Safe to say I’m pretty hungry for the title,” said the man with over 50,000 YouTube subscribers.

“It was gutting in 2019 and 2020 but I’m back again and I’m feeling good.

“When I went to Townsville for Uni, my way of keeping connected with football was to play FIFA. Now I’ve moved to Brisbane and here I am representing the Roar for the third year. I’m looking forward to the season.”

Lifelong Roar fan Connor returns for his second E-League season after representing the club for the first time in 2021.

“Last year was definitely a good experience,” he said. “Obviously the goal is to try to win each game and get better each game.

“I’ve been mates with Dylan for a few years now. He’s a good guy, good team-mate, knows the game. It’s going to be good to be alongside him playing for the Roar.”
