Squad News | Isuzu UTE A-League

Brisbane Roar visit Western Sydney Wanderers this Saturday looking for a second successive Isuzu UTE A-League victory after last weekend’s win over Newcastle.

Though suggested during Sunday’s match broadcast that he would miss this game through suspension, midfielder Jay O’Shea is eligible for selection.

The Irishman, who ranks second in the league for assists, has accrued four yellow cards, rather than the five which would result in a one-match suspension.

However, the Roar will be without defender Corey Brown for the CommBank Stadium clash.

After recovering fully from a hamstring injury, Brown has unfortunately suffered a significant quad injury during a training session this week.

The left-back will commence rehab with a timeline for his recovery to be clarified as functional status progresses.

Meanwhile, attacker Nikola Mileusnić continues to build up his individual and team training workload heading into a run of three consecutive away fixtures for the Roar.

Saturday’s match kicks off at 5:05pm.
