Brisbane Roar could welcome back up to four first-team players for Saturday night’s Isuzu UTE A-League clash with Sydney FC.
Warren Moon’s side are set to return to Netstrata Jubilee Stadium just 72 hours on from contesting an FFA Cup Quarter Final at the same venue.
Having missed the mid-week match, Rahmat Akbari, Josh Brindell-South, Corey Brown and Luke Ivanović are all a chance to return.
The quartet will train alongside their team-mates on Friday morning before a decision is made on the travelling party.
Brisbane will be without attacking midfielders Henry Hore and Jez Lofthouse, who are unavailable for selection, and defender Anton Mlinarić, who misses out due to the terms of his loan agreement.
Young striker Cyrus Dehmie will also stay behind after sustaining a knock during his 20-minute cameo on Wednesday.
Captain and centre-back Tom Aldred remains on the sideline through injury, with a timeline for his return to be confirmed following further assessment.
