Tameka Butt

A former captain of the Young Matildas, Tameka Butt is now well established in the senior national side where she has accumulated 55 caps.

The dynamic, goal-scoring midfielder has been with the Roar since 2008 and has won numerous individual and team honours, including being awarded the Julie Dolan Medal for being the best player in the Westfield W-League in 2013/14 and the Players’ Player award in 2012/13.

The 25-year-old QAS product has spent time with the Boston Breakers, German club 1. FFC Frankfurt and Japanese team Iga Football Club.

At international level, she has represnted Australia at FIFA World Cups and Olympic Games.
