TEAM NEWS: Star in line for BRFC debut

Japanese World Cup winner Yuki Nagasato is in line to make her Westfield W-League debut this Sunday at Lions Stadium.

The Japanese star has been named in Mel Andreatta’s 17-player squad for Sunday’s clash against the Reds.

Nagasato, who has made more than 130 appearances for the Japan national side, landed in Brisbane late last week and has made an immediate impact in training.

She is one of two inclusions for Sunday’s clash with BRFC NTC NPLW Championship winner Leah Davidson also named in the 17-player squad.

The Roar will be looking for a fifth straight wins against the Reds on Sunday, having also taken maximum points from six of the last eight meetings (W6, D1, L1).
