Brisbane Roar Football Club can confirm the departure of Italian marquee, Massimo Maccarone, following the completion of the 2017/18 campaign.
In his debut season for the Club, Maccarone featured in all 28 Hyundai A-League fixtures, scoring nine (9) times in Roar Orange.
“I would like to thank the players, coaches and supporters for making me feel so welcome. I really enjoyed my time here in Australia,” Maccarone said on Tuesday.
“I am disappointed that we couldn’t make the Grand Final, but I leave with good memories.”
BRFC would like to thank Massimo for his dedication and contribution and we wish him well in the future.
