As a proud sponsor of the Brisbane Roar, ROAR Logistics, a U.S. intermodal marketing company (IMC) bearing the same name, will contribute $1,000 to the Queensland Disaster Relief Fund for every goal scored by the team this weekend during the Hyundai A-League Grand Final match against Central Coast Mariners at Suncorp Stadium.
Based in Buffalo, New York, ROAR Logistics partnered with the team early in the season, and is thrilled with their undefeated 27-match run and Premiership honours.
“This is an all-time record for Australian football teams, and we could not be more proud of the team,” said Robert Rich III, President of ROAR Logistics, a mid-sized intermodal marketing company, third party logistics provider, and subsidiary of Rich Products Corporation, a leading global supplier and solutions provider to the foodservice, in-store bakery, retail and industrial marketplaces.
“The team is outstanding and, to show our support of the team and the entire Queensland area, we-re going to contribute $1,000 for each goal to help those affected by the recent floods and Tropical Cyclone Yasi.”
ROAR Logistics is an industry leader in intermodal transportation and is rapidly expanding its business globally.
“We have looked into expanding our reach to Australia, and partnering with a team that bears our name across the globe made a lot of sense for us,” said Rich.
“Plus, it-s really fun and, as a company, we love to do things out of the box.”
Intermodal transportation is the process of integrating multiple modes of transportation to move product to market efficiently.
As gas prices continue to escalate, intermodal transportation is gaining significant momentum as a leading solution.
“This partnership has been a big lift for us,” said Steve Guise, Marketing and Commercial Manager, Brisbane ROAR.
“It-s not often you get a call from a company across the globe, with the same name, willing to lend support like this.
“We-re thrilled that we haven-t let them down with this undefeated season.
“Additionally, we so appreciate their support of the Queensland Disaster Relief Fund to help Queenslanders who have been affected by the recent floods and Tropical Cyclone Yasi.”
