Brisbane Roar Women will take on Canberra United in the Westfield W-League semi-final this Saturday at Ballymore Stadium, kicking off at 2pm.
This knockout match is the chance for Brisbane-s premier female football team to secure their spot in the 2011 Westfield W-League grand final in hopes of claiming their second title since they first took out the trophy in the 2009 competition.
The winners of the match will face the victorious team in Sunday-s Westfield W-League semi-final between Sydney FC Women and Melbourne Victory Women, with the grand final due to take place the following Saturday.
Brisbane will be aiming to make it three grand final appearances in a row after defeating Canberra United in the first ever Westfield W-League grand final and losing narrowly to Sydney FC Women in last year-s decider.
