Brisbane Roar has confirmed that Kwame Yeboah will join Bundesliga club Borussia Mönchengladbach, subject to a medical.
The 19-year-old has flown to Europe to complete formalities with the German club ahead of the January transfer window.
“As a club, we will not stand in the way of opportunities like this for our young players,” Football Director Ken Stead said.
“It-s a great achievement for Brisbane Roar to see so many former players excelling in top leagues overseas and as part of the Socceroos.
“This new environment will allow Kwame to continually improve his game and further his youth and senior national team ambitions in the future.”
The former Gold Coast United youth player will miss Brisbane-s Hyundai A-League fixture against Newcastle Jets on Friday night but will be available for selection for the Boxing Day away match against Sydney FC.
