Young Queensland talent Indiah-Paige Riley is on her way to the UEFA Women’s Champions League after joining Danish champions Fortuna Hjørring.
The 18-year-old will make the journey into one of top women’s cup competitions in the world after just two seasons in the Westfield W-League.
The Young Matildas representative has made 20 appearances for the Roar since debuting in the 2018/19 campaign, scoring three goals including her first on her 17th birthday.
Head Coach Jake Goodship praised Riley on Facebook ahead of what is a fantastic opportunity for one of Queensland’s most exciting young footballers.
Her new club find themselves in the 2020-21 UEFA Women’s Champions League group stage after securing a third Danish title in five seasons.
