Brisbane Roar Youth will be looking to record their third consecutive Foxtel National Youth League victory in Sunday afternoon’s clash with Melbourne Victory Youth at Lakeside Stadium (2:30pm KO QLD time).

The Young Roar sit in second place in the Foxtel NYL’s Conference A following back-to-back victories over Perth Glory and Adelaide United.

The side have built good momentum ahead of the Christmas period after their latest win against Adelaide United.

Despite entering the sheds with a 3-0 advantage, the Young Roar let the Young Reds back into the fixture and were forced to hold on for a 3-2 victory.

D'AgostinoSunday’s match is the reverse fixture of the Foxtel NYL season opener in which an inspired comeback from the Young Roar overturned a 3-0 deficit as both teams share the points in a 3-3 draw.

Sunday’s visitors are turning into one of the most electric and exciting teams to watch in Australia’s premier youth competition, having scored 12 goals in the opening three fixtures.

Better yet, the Young Roar have shared the goals among the team with leading goalscorer Nick D’Agostino (above) (three goals) is among seven players to have found the net.

A win could elevate the Young Roar to the summit of Conference A.
