Our Young Roar are hitting the road & heading to Townsville to ramp up preparations for the upcoming NPL Queensland season.
Our most-senior Academy side, alongside a number of Academy coaches, are heading to North Queensland next weekend with plenty on the agenda for local players and coaches.
The trip will be highlighted by two pre-season fixtures on Friday, 22 January against fellow NPL QLD outfit Magpies Crusaders and a local Townsville Premier League Select squad on Monday, 25 January. Attendance is free of charge.
The Academy’s visit will also include a coaching education event with the invitation open to all local coaches to observe a Young Roar training session, attend a Brisbane Roar Academy vision and methodology presentation and network with our highly-qualified coaches.
