Grace Kuilamu

CommBank Matildas forward, Grace Kuilamu is key component of the Roar attack with her electric pace and goal scoring nous helping her find the back of the net five times along with three assists after returning from an ACL injury to play 18 games throughout the 24/25 Ninja A-League season.

Kuilamu’s stellar campaign earned the teenager a maiden Matildas call up, becoming cap #241 when she was substituted on in the second half of the team’s 1-0 defeat to Panama in Bunbury in July.

The forward has been a regular for Australia at youth level, captaining the CommBank Young Matildas during the PacificAus Sports Four Nations Tournament, alongside Indiana Dos Santos to the title earlier this year.

Born and raised in Brisbane, Kuilamu played her junior football at Souths United, where she remained until age 12 before joining QAS. The 17-year-old impressed for QAS at NPL Women’s level and was spotted at a Junior Matilda’s camp in South Korea where she was presented with an opportunity in the A-League.

Kuilamu found the back of the net on her Ninja A-League debut in Round 1 of the 23/24 season against Melbourne Victory, aged just 16 to become the club’s youngest ever Ninja A-League goalscorer before having her debut campaign cut short by an ACL injury.
